  • Imaging characterstics of the different SRMs cannot predict their pathomorphological nature
  • To reduce the overtreatment of SRMs and the rate of intervention for benign lesions, the renal tumor biopsy should be performed as well as a proper radiological management
  • Active Surveillance should be considered in the management of SRMs in elderly patients with multiple comorbidities
  • Radiofrequency Ablation is a safe method of treatment of peripheral lesions, especially in patients with comorbidities and solitary kidney
  • Irreversible Electroporation is a new, promising option in unfavorably localized tumors
