Learning objectives

The aims of this presentation are:

  • to describe the procedure and protocol for dynamic shoulder magnetic resonance (DS-MR) imaging in the evaluation of the subacromial impingement syndrome (SIS);
  • to characterise qualitatively and quantitatively acquired dynamic shoulder MR images;
  • to illustrate findings of DS-MR imaging in tendinopathy, partial-thickness and complete tears of the supraspinatus tendon.
