Conclusiones

CONCLUSIONES:

 

Los resultados muestran una alta sensibilidad y especificidad, lo que indica que el  TC es un método diagnóstico excelente para la detección y localización de la hemorragia digestiva.

 

Sin embargo  es remarcable la gran heterogeneidad encontrada, esto quizá puede ser debido a la gran variablidad de técnicas de referencia empleadas, en cada estudio, lo que puede influir la estimación de la precisión, la sensibilidad combinada y la especificidad.

 

Sería interesante incluir el TCMD en los nuevos protocolos de actuación en la hemorragia digestiva en las unidades de urgencia hospitalaria y  evaluar posteriormente su impacto en la reducción del tiempo de diagnóstico y por lo tanto de costes hospitalarios.
