Aims and objectives
To assess the attitude and perception of radiographers and student radiographers towards clinical postings in low resource country. Clinical training of student radiographers in hospital environment is an integral part of the academic curriculum to engender hands-on skills,
clinical and ethical behaviours.
Commitment and dedication of radiographers and students are critical in achieving the set goals.
Thirty and 76 copies of the questionnaire were returned fully completed giving a return rate of 75% and 95% respectively.
100% of the radiographers had worked with student radiographers.
Majority of the radiographers (66%) had positive attitude towards teaching the students (3.32 ± 1.29) and were willing and disposed to guiding and mentoring the students.
The radiographers (71%) perceived the students to be disciplined and of good conduct (4.07 ± 1.27).

Clinical training for radiography students remains pivotal to the professional development and efficient of a Radiographer.
There is a positive attitude by the radiographers towards the training of radiography students.
Absence of remuneration,
excess work load and large students’ population had negative impact on the teaching capacity of the radiographers.
Students’ enthusiasm and satisfaction decreased with time due to institutional and environmental factors.
