The purpose of this essay is to: Review structural and functional imaging abnormalities on positron emission tomography / computed tomography (PET/CT); Correlate important findings with the clinical,
anatomy and pathogenesis of non-oncological thoracic diseases; Identify their characteristics in order to familiarize radiologists with these conditions; Emphasize the most important radiologic features on PET/CT.
